Witnessed the Assasination of Actor cum Politician Vijaya Kumarathunga, husband of former President of Sri Lanka Ms. Chandrika Bandaranayaka.

Carried Vijaya who was dead by now and put him in the back seat of a vehicle which was parked inside his residence. Also carried a friend who was shot (succumbed few days later) and put him in the front passenger seat. Chandrika, Yashodha & Vimukthi werre crying seated on the edge of a drain in the garden.

Top - Photo of the blood soaked Wig which was worn by Vijaya and had fallen on the ground near the left side door of the vehicle in which the body was brought to the Accident Service of the National Hospital, Colombo.
