Photographed on the sly the painting of the Town Hall fence from Green to Blue just after the Municipal Council ruling party changed from UNP to PA.

Had to wait for about 20 mts to take the photograph as the workers were looking at me. Sent image to 'The Island' by SMS from there itself and was published in the front page of The Island the following day (21st October 2006).

President Mahinda Rajapaksha had ordered it to be repainted and the cost of the whole 'project' to be borne by the Municipal Commissioner's money!
